It was announced today that BEAST and Cube Entertainment would be heading to London for this year’s Thames Festival. The Thames Festival in London is always held during the second weekend of September and is London’s biggest outdoor festival. On September 10th and 11th, Cube Entertainment’s artists will meet local K-Pop fans.
At the festival there will be a Cube Public Relations area, where there will be photos of BEAST and 4minute. There will also be an opportunity to showcase the songs of the artists through previous performances. Cube Entertainment will have CDs, posters, and other items available for purchase as well.
The event will also see a Noraebang (Karaoke) Experience as part of the “Korea Calling” part of the Thames Festival this year.
Last year, it was reported that over 100,000 people attended the Thames Festival. With locals and tourists making up a diverse crowd, Cube Entertainment and the Korean Cultural Centre UK hope that there can be an extensive outreach beyond traditional Korean culture and include the K-Pop fandoms in their network.
It was announced a while ago that Cube Entertainment was planning a United Cube Concert on November 19th in London. As part of United Cube, performances from 4minute, G.NA, and BEAST are planned. British K-Pop fans actively requested that the United Cube Concert be held in London, which caught the attention of the local officials.
